Master Gardeners “help people grow” through service. We grow as Master Gardeners through service, for we are each journeyman gardeners learning more each season. We also teach others through our service. We believe that through service we empower ourselves and others to strive towards a verdant, vibrant community. Our volunteers lend their energies to help achieve mission goals of valued partners across Northwest Michigan. Explore our partner’s websites to find out how you can better make their missions a part of your own.
Some Master Gardener projects are open to the public. Others are advertised only through our private Master Gardener record keeping system. The best way to engage in service is by taking the training course to become a Master Gardener. You can also contact the friend organizations at which we serve to volunteer directly for them. Happy learning!
